A S$7 QuickPick Just Won Singapore’s S$5.9 Million TOTO Jackpot

Seven Singapore dollars bought one player seven combinations. One of them was worth S$5,900,838.

A single QuickPick System 7 entry matched all six winning numbers in Singapore’s Monday, July 27 TOTO drawing: 22, 23, 30, 36, 44, and 48. The additional number was 28. Singapore Pools reported that the winning entry was purchased through its account betting service.

The winner’s S$7 ticket is compelling because it shows exactly what a system entry does. It also exposes what it cannot do.

System 7 turns seven numbers into seven lines

An ordinary TOTO entry selects six numbers from 1 to 49 and costs S$1. A System 7 entry selects seven numbers, then creates every possible six-number combination from that set.

The computer-generated line included consecutive numbers 22 and 23, plus four values above the usual birthday range.
